Who is eligible?
High school seniors who reside in the Town of Westfield, New Jersey and who will be attending an accredited college or university.
Some scholarships can also be awarded to students who reside in the Town of Westfield and who will be attending an accredited law school.
What scholarships are available?
Each year, the Rotary Club of Westfield awards approximately $90,000 to $100,000 in scholarships. Individual awards are typically in the range of $1500 to $15,000. Since 1967, we have awarded over $3 million in scholarships.
What are the criteria for scholarship awards?
Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, financial need, and the student's commitment to community service.
How can I apply?
The deadline for applications for scholarships is Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
To download the application form,  CLICK HERE The form will include instructions for submitting it and a list of materials which must accompany the form. These materials will include:
  1. Common Application (entire);
  2. Write an essay on your involvement in community service;
  3. FAFSA report;
  4. SAT or ACT Scores/Transcripts;
  5. Full disclosure of any financial aid already received from college or other sources.
All of these materials must be submitted by the deadline; later or incomplete applications cannot be considered. College acceptance letters and financial aid offers received after the deadline must be submitted promptly when received.
The application form will also ask you to select dates for a brief in-person interview with the Rotary scholarship committee, usually held in May. 
Those students who are selected to receive scholarships will be invited to the Rotary scholarship luncheon early in June.
